Mine came up with the statement, "Where there are human beings there is conflict, but there is also love. It’s not a matter of choosing between the two as much as it is accepting both. 2011 will be hard and it will be happy, just like every year since anyone started counting."
I am in the middle of a lot of conflict, between my children and between one particular child and myself (ordinary, sibling stuff, I suppose), so I found this particularly profound.
