J and I went thrift/vintage store shopping last week and among the many treasures we discovered was this pendant light:
It reminds me of Jonathan Adler's Parker Light, which I've been coveting for a few years:
But since it's not a flush-mount like the Jonathan Adler light, I declined to get it. Still, I can't help being tempted.... What do you think? Is $100 a good deal? Could I make it a flush-mount? I can't help but picture it in the powder room. :)
Decisions, decisions...
Where did you go shopping? I've been dying to go vintage clothing shopping. I'd love to have you come along with me!
ReplyDeleteI'll ask the hubby about the lighting fixture, I don't see why it couldn't be mounted flush to the ceiling. If you don't hear back from me within a few days, please call/email/text me. My brain has been a hopeless sieve of forgetfulness lately. :)
What's there to decide? Grab it! I'm totally jealous, the restore never has fixtures like that - just brass colonial wagon wheel lamps :/ I don't know where you went, but everything in the background looks awesome too....
ReplyDeleteI say buy it! $100 is a deal. But try to talk them down to $80.
