Band-aids are pure joy, even for a grown-up. Definitely worth the expense!

Every once in a while, I cave in and buy Band-Aids with cartoon characters on them. In this house, the kids go thru Scooby Doo Band-Aids about as fast as I go thru a bag of Dove chocolates.
For $2.19, I think it's worth it. :)
