Pumpkin Treats
One of the things I love about having kids this age is that it can be so easy to please them. They get excited over the smallest of efforts I make, like letting them help make rice crispie treats in the shape of Jack O Lanterns.
L has decided that "punkin" is his new favorite word.
E was my biggest helper. He mixed in food coloring, shaped the pumpkins and made candy faces. Afterwards he gave me a hug and thanked me for the fun project. Honestly, it doesn't get much better than that.

I need some of those treats right NOW. You get the mommy-of-the-year award for this... I haven't even got a costume yet!
What a tasty, cute idea. Those would put a smile on my face too.
Go mom!! "Smallest of efforts"? That is awesome. We made cheescloth ghosts last night (you know, with the starch) and it started out very badly. We were all grouchy and upset before we even started making them, just with the setup. However, once we started making them we had a blast. :) Never mind that they stuck to the newspaper and form we put them on. Or that we all had headaches from the strong smell of the starch. It was a blast. But NOT the smallest of efforts. :) Somehow I don't think making those pumpkins would be a small effort from me either.
