It doesn't even feel like Autumn around here, {despite the fact that today is officially the first day of fall. Hooray!} but I find myself daydreaming about upcoming winter holidays.
To satisfy my cravings for glitz, I decided to refurbish a pair of beloved-but-damaged-beyond-repair heels {last seen here}. There are countless tutorials out there for glittering a pair of shoes {this is a good one} but basically all it takes is glitter, Modpodge, and sandpaper. It took me a single evening, and though the results are a little, um, gold, I'm finding that they're growing on me.
Here's a bit more glittery goodness to get you inspired:
There now, aren't you in the mood for a cute dress and a party to go to? Me too! Happy Weekend!

I'd wear 'em!
I love these. You are always so on top of the new cravings in fashion.
I think it is so awesome that you could take an old pair of shoes and make them functional and cool again! We are the same in that we are always excited about the holidays months too early, and then done by the time they get here, lol! I just bought a glittery bracelet at the Warren Wisconsic CranFest because "it's perfect for New Year's" :)
Love, love, love glitter. I'm always in the mood for a cute dress unfortunately you have to be young and cute to wear them too. I think you have that covered, I don't.
