Music

There are some in my family and friends who listen to and discover new music as though they were breathing it in. I don't have the same talent for discovery, but I do have a definite preference for quiet, moody tunes and usually know it when I hear it. My new favorite is "Falling Slowly" from the film Once. Other favorites are "Cinders and Smoke", "Love and Some Verses" and "Naked as We Came" by Iron and Wine, "Glass, Concrete and Stone" by David Byrne, "Cannonball" and "Blower's Daughter" by Damien Rice, "On Your Porch" by The Format, "Driftwood" by Travis, and anything by Coldplay.

I now have a moody atmospheric playlist to try out on the next misty layered rainy day. Like tomorrow.
