Botan Rice Candy

I must be on a japanese kick today- satsuma trees and now Botan Rice Candy! I used to eat these when I was growing up in Washington. It's a chewy, sweet candy wrapped in clear rice paper resembling cellophane. The rice paper melts in your mouth. I had some again this weekend when my brother and sister in law visited from Seattle and brought some for the kids. After all these years, the novelty has not worn off!

i love candy from childhood! I love your outdoor room idea! I'd think about doing something like that if I wasn't moving to Washington! So, whether you know it or not you really inspire me and I really look up to you! Thank you for the things you said about me and my low self-esteem. Satan works really hard on me about my body and levels of adequacy. He knows he can get me down very quick by telling me I'm not good enough or am not as pretty as that person...Oh, blasted weaknesses!!! I've definitely been taking a good look at myself and doing the things that make me happy and been doing new things that I find joy in. Thanks for your encouragement.

That looks like good candy. And way to go on the gardening! When we get a yard, I'll be sure to ask for advice. I don't have a clue.
