One of my favorite Oscar moments was Ben Stiller's impersonation of Joaquin Phoenix. Heaven knows, I'm a Joaquin fan, but honestly. What is up with him lately? Enjoy. {And congrats to my brother who predicted 20 of the 25 Oscar Winners! Jared is determined to take back the crown next year.}

Oh, good heavens - I was soooo confused during Ben Stiller's bit on the Oscars! It's good to now be in on the joke. I've heard about Joaquin's weirdness of late, but seeing it is a whole different thing. I hope he's not on drugs or something - goodness knows he should know better, with River and all. Let's hope this is just a schtick!
I heard that Joaquin was doing it for a mockumentary---that they were filming the David Letterman segment for it?

I'm doubtful that it is...it seems like such a cry for help. He's clearly not healthy right now. Ben Stiller's poking fun doesn't seem right somehow...it makes me sad.
I personally thought it was pretty horrible as well. Slightly funny, bust still horrible. If it wasn't a stunt than Joaquin obviously has a problem whether its mental illness or drugs I'm not sure but I can't believe people are making fun of him like that... it doesn't seem right.
