I want candy

Lately, it seems as though my mind is full of things to write about, but I've been stricken with such overwhelming exhaustion, I haven't the energy to share any of it. It's quite frustrating. I wake up after sleeping far longer than I meant to, only to discover that I'm still tired! I've even taken to eating sweets throughout the day in a vain attempt to prod my body into producing bursts of energy. If I still had insurance, I think I'd be demanding a blood work-up. Perhaps I'm anemic again? I haven't a clue. But right now I need a nap.

I've been SO exhausted lately too. Yesterday I took a nap, and when I woke up it felt like I'd been run over a train. I hardly had energy to get out of bed. Hope you feel better soon.

Allergies or thyroid maybe? If not, hope you're back to your usual energy level soon!

Maybe you have what I've got. !?! I am totally sleepy all the time and I recently started eating candy again too (not just chocolate). Of course there are other symptoms, too. Do you get up to use the bathroom 3 times a night? :)

Also, yesterday we we got out the wooden car kits you sent (we're going to make them during the summer when the kids are bored, tomorrow's the last day of school!) and we found two little bags of mini eggs!!! We were shocked that we had missed those, but so glad, too because we shared them after hours of deep cleaning and organizing the toy room. It was the perfect reward. :)

Hi, I'm late on this one, but one clear clue to anemia is whether you are driven to chew ice.

Another might be insatiable desires for raw red meat, but I'd try the ice chewing first.

We've been sick here for over a month, after swapping germs in Utah:). I haven't felt this tired in forever, and even with insurance, I can't find anyone to watch our kids. If I get one more four day headache I think I'm going to call it quits! Let me know if you find anything. I'm wondering about anemia and thyroid or even chronic fatigue or swine flu or something! It can't be normal to feel like this all the time. Perhaps getting a few good nights' sleep wouldn't be a bad idea...ahh..maybe someday...

Reread your post, I actually broke down to see a dr and my thyroid was borderline, don't know if this is why I'm so tired...kids waking me up all hours of the night and late nights catching up could be part of the issue:). It was nice to know things weren't just my imagination. We'll see in a few months but my body seems to be getting back to normal, slowly!
