This is what happens when Mommy can hardly manage to get out of bed. Let's just call it a lesson in independence, shall we? 
Oh, and you can see the laundry room over L's shoulder-- the huge pile of dirty clothes is further evidence of how much I let things go. :)

I am sorry you are sick, but those pics are priceless.
Now that's a bowl of cereal and look how proud he is....sure hope you are on the mend. You'll catch up on that laundry, so much more important that you caught this moment in pictures.
Brilliant mom to take the picture in a "time of trial." Because it's both horrifying (from the perspective of clean up) and horribly funny too.
