Custom Mousepad
I don't like mousepads. I think they're ugly. I was really hoping to have a streamlined, mousepad-free desk, but apparently my mouse will not work on such a smooth surface. Luckily, I found a craft idea that promised to solve my problem.
Materials: - Cheap-o mousepad
- Spare fabric
- Spray adhesive
- Sharp Scissors
First spray the front of the mousepad with a generous layer of spray adhesive. Then press the mousepad to the fabric firmly and smooth out any wrinkles or air bubbles.
Trim excess fabric with sharp scissors. {After a few days use, I now think I may apply something to the edges to prevent fraying and the occasional stray thread}
Voila! A mousepad that isn't an eyesore. And it only took 5 minutes-- which is about the maximum amount of time I'm able to expend any amount of energy lately. :)

How awesome are you? Love the mouse pad. And crafting while feeling how you do? Amazing.
nice, makes me want a mouse pad which is impressive
You know what I like about that pattern? It reminds me of cartoon versions of TV salt and pepper...and Charlie Brown at the same time.
