Growing up in Washington, we used to go to the Tulip Festival in LaConner every year. Seeing fields and fields of tulips planted under a stormy sky was breathtaking. To this day, tulips are my favorite flowers. I had tulips at my wedding, and still believe that they're elegant without being ostentatious. These ones are from my Mom and Dad. The observant reader will note that the last half dozen posts have involved my Mom, so suffice it to say, we have similar (aka, exquisite) taste. :)
