This happens every year. I get so wrapped up in the glitter that is Christmas, I forget all about preparing for New Years Eve. I'm craving a black tie event to go to, or a close group of friends to gather {sans children} for finger food and cards before the toast at midnight. Anyone game? {image via}

I was watching Sleepless in Seattle the other night. In the beginning, Meg Ryan is at a black tie party for New Year's Eve and I casually let Kurt know I'd love to go to one someday. Someday soon.
