Escapism

I'm totally enamored with Zachary Quinto's outfit in this photo. The skinny H&M suspenders. The Band of Outsiders tie. It reminds me of the suits J would wear when we were first dating, spending our weekends swing dancing. If I could, I'd give him this exact ensemble for Father's Day. We'd make such a cute couple, him in his black & white checks, me in this houndstooth skirt

Ironic, isn't it? Today, we officially ran out of severance pay and are now living off of savings. And all I can think about is buying clothes. *sigh*

I didn't get your title until I read the last line of this post.

Your escapism a way of coping. And as long as dreaming of clothes doesn't turn into the buying of unnecessary purchases, you should go right on dreaming! I did the exact same thing when my husband was an employed. When he finally did get a job, I treated myself to one new outfit!

Good thing is: tighter purse strings doesn't affect your exquisite taste for the cool, the retro, the elegant, the classic.

You have great taste! Thanks for sharing it with the rest of us.

(I'm the Dragonfly's sister and mutual admirer of your blog.)
