Tweet Tweet

Last night as I finished my dinner, I promised the children that if they could get ready for bed quickly, I would read another chapter of The Enormous Egg before tucking them in. Little Miss C raced up the stairs, calling, "I'm going to wear my pink pajamas!"

J and I smiled, eager to fill the temporary silence with actual conversation, but were interrupted by Little Miss C yelling, "I'm putting away my dirty clothes!" and a mere moment later, "I'm brushing my teeth now!"

"Um, good." I called back, annoyed at the distraction.

I hadn't even finished my next sentence before her voice rang out, "I'm using the bathroom!"

J and I exchanged glances. "Does she really think I need a play by play report? Honestly, the bathroom?"

J just shrugged and explained, "She's tweeting."

I don't think I've commented here before, although I've been checking in sporadically for several months now.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that this post is just fun. Thanks.

I love your blog, by the way.

This is hilarious. I have to read it to Greg. He doesn't get why people care to hear what everyone else is doing every hour throughout the day. He'll love this.

(And I love how excited she was to read the chapter! I've got to check out that book. (meaning get my hands on it, and not "check it out from the library", since ours won't have it. :)
