Sleepy Summer

I spent the first few days of summer sick with a cold. Doesn't it seem wrong to have a temperature and sniffles when it's so sunny outside? Incongruous somehow.

But J took excellent care of me. He ran and got medicine for me even though it was late and he was tired. And we have three bags of Sonic ice in the freezer, which is just like heaven when mixed with a bit of fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade. {Do you have Sonic ice? It's that small, pebble shaped ice- perfect for chomping. The only other place I've seen it is at the hospital.}

Now that I'm feeling better, I'm looking into buying a nursery rocker off of craigslist. With all the trouble I have sleeping {except when propped upright with pillows} I'm hoping the chair is comfortable enough to doze in.
