Meds

I can no longer keep the crazy at bay, so today I'm going to the Doctor's to get a prescription for my much-missed antidepressants. They probably won't make me as happy as losing 30 pounds would, but it's a start.

Good for you! I'm impressed you lasted as long as you have. A couple of days and I'm a disaster. Start with the meds and the 30 pounds will follow :)

Good for you. I hope you feel a big difference. (including on how much you hate that baby weight! It'll come off! (of course you know that))

How FUNNY! The word verification "word" is "doses". No kidding. :)

Good for you! It's a positive thing that you can recognize the warning signs and take care of yourself before things get out of control.

I think that it's amazing that you were able to make it through the pregnancy without your meds.

I actually started meds again (after a couple of years hiatus) at the end of my 2nd trimester because I was having such a difficult time coping. I'm so grateful that I did because now that it's fully kicked in, it's really allowed me to enjoy things in a way I know would have been impossible before.

That being said, I'm still crazy nervous about PPD. I hope that already being on the meds will help curb the onslaught of emotions, but we'll see.

Again, good for you!

Serious topic aside, this is the awesomest picture EVER!

Own up and do it, I say! And just so you know, you've officially run three times more than I have since having my baby a year and two months ago. I tried once and wet my pants. Maybe I need meds for that!

The pounds will eventually go away and feeling in control emotionally will help that to happen.

Love the photo.

I am going through the baby blues now, biiiig time. I can't imagine depression. However, I am sure you look more fabulous than you realize. And, I must say, you choose the perfect pictures for your posts. :)

I like the chocolate eyeballs. Make sure to have one of those every day too.
