Thanksgiving Weekend

Good morning! Did you have a good Thanksgiving? Ours was wonderful-- plenty of food, family, and relaxing while grandparents took our kids to The Muppet Movie {they've been quoting it ever since}.  Then we hunkered down and spent the weekend living off of turkey and stuffing while filming our 4th annual Christmas Video.

Nothing ushers in the holidays like blanketing the living room in fake snow, cotton balls and tinsel, even if I will be digging it out of the crevices of the sofa for the next five weeks. :)

What about you? Did you put up the tree this weekend? Participate in Black Friday madness? Or simply relax and eat pie for breakfast? {If so, good call!}

I can't wait to see this year's video!

I decorated my Christmas tree. Couldn't help it!

And I made a black bottom banana cream pie last night to last me through this week. :)

Cinematic Christmas greetings from your family soon?! Ooooo, aaaaah! Exciting stuff!

We're reading The Invention of Hugo Cabret for the first time and it reminds me of your family.

Is that the red Vespa I see making an appearance in this year's Christmas video?? *fingers crossed!*

Hi! I came across your Christmas video last year and loved it--watched the previous ones as well (loved them, too!). And so here I am, back a year later, looking forward to this year's production. :o) Happy Holidays!

Finally found a chunk of time to catch up on your blog! I didn't even watch the Christmas video yet!! When I get to that part I'm going to plug the computer into the TV and call the family in to watch. :)

And to answer your question waaaaay after the fact, I had a fabulous Christmas at my brother's house with his wife and newborn baby and my mom and sisters. Loved it.
