Even a small possibility of precipitation is cause for excitement around here. This week, we had a whopping 20% chance of rain {or as J likes to say, 80% chance of the same old, same old}. Although we didn't think anything would come of it, as evening fell, clouds gathered and the horizon began to darken...
Aside from a lot of wind and a few heavy drops, it wasn't exactly a summer monsoon, but it was certainly a nice change of pace. Now it's back to 110 degrees outside and the cicadas are singing loudly. It's going to be a long, hot summer.
