I've really enjoyed this Black Eiffel series of posts featuring books. I've always loved books. Living with and being surrounded by them is such a comforting thing.
The wall of books makes me think of my mom. I have never known anyone to live with and read as many books as she does. And when you consider the ratio number of books : square footage of home, it is truly remarkable. She needs a wall like this.
I love that the stacking creates a flagstone look. This desk makes me want to grow old and become the coolest librarian ever.
This floating ceiling of books is my favorite. I'm not usually an art installation fan, but this one takes my breath away. I could spend hours in that room.
