White Kitchen

Did you see this kitchen makeover? I've been toying with the same idea-- painting my maple cabinets a glossy white. I worry about the finish, though. They used a high compression sprayer, and it looks like it worked marvelously. Better than rolling it on, the way I see them do it on Trading Spaces. So now I need to find someone who owns a compression sprayer....

This is going to sound ultra cheesy, but it's still true: having a white kitchen is one of the great joys in my life! Since I'm in the kitchen so much, it's really important for me that it be a light and happy space.

Good luck! Can't wait to see what you turn out.

So clean, bright and classic. Go for it! Good luck finding a sprayer if you succumb to the light side.

We finally hired a pro with the right equipment to do our cabinet doors. We handled the boxes; inside, exterior, well enough ourselves, but my L wanted the perfect low-sheen finish in Pratt & Lambert's Pearl White. (#2310)

It worked. He set up a spray room in our shed and fired away. Took him less than 2 hours to do all the doors, and we had set up dry racks, so...sweet!
