I've been craving a new rug for the living room, but even clearanced rugs or the good deals on Overstock are way out of my price range right now. Then I spotted this photo in my inspiration folder {I can't remember where I got it, but it's tagged with Margot Austin}. I LOVE the sunny stripes, and can easily see myself mimicking this with a few colorful Ikea runners overlapped to create a casual pattern. Anyone else have inexpensive floor covering solutions?

I love this rug, wish I had a solution, I am making a rug for C-tober's room too after not being able to find one I love for a reasonable price.
that's a great idea to sew together a few ikea stripey rugs, give it a try and let us know how it goes!
hey, Ikea even has a white four poster bed now that is very similar to the one in the photo. so happy. love it!

You could sew together bath mats, towels, or even place mats, but Ikea would be the easier solution for sure.
