- J says that a weekend spent alone in NYC reduces the place to one big mall: crowded, with nothing to do but eat and shop. He did, however, run into the cast & crew of Law & Order SVU in the middle of Grand Central Station. Turns out Ice T {for all his annoying swagger} is actually pretty short, and Det. Munch is just as strange looking in person as he is on television. :)
- I'm ecstatic that J will be home tomorrow. I feel the urge to dress up and look pretty for him, but unfortunately all my efforts seem about as pointless as putting lipstick on a butterball turkey. I fear this is just as good as it gets.
- Dark clouds are massing on the horizon and the wind is picking up. We may have a monsoon season after all!
- I've been watching a Criminal Minds marathon, which has me wishing I'd been born a genius, completed a bunch of schooling, and applied to join the FBI. Of course, this is coming from a girl who, after reading a bunch of Harry Potter books, wished I'd been sent to an English boarding school. I tend to romanticize things. Anyone know of any books that romanticize being hugely pregnant and raising loud children? Because that'd be a miracle.
- I have a craving for sushi.... which I can't satisfy until after the baby is born. *sigh*

I totally LOVE me a Criminal Intent or SVU marathon. Nothing better on a Saturday winter afternoon.
Next- I Heart Harry Potter and also count the days until the movie release. It is our favorite date night (with our son) of the year.
I guess, in order to find a show which could make loud children and a big wife funny....um, maybe old Roseanne episodes?
Last- you are beautiful, pregnant and otherwise.
Read & watch Cheaper By The Dozen. The old movie, not the remake.
Excited that J will finally be heading home:). And I can't believe you could have your baby any week now...I know it was slow for you (and any pregnant woman those last 2 or 3 mos) but we're excited to see the new little one! And way to go on the nesting! I had grandiose hopes but the kids kept me too busy to actually get anything done! You're welcome at my house anytime:)! Just please don't try and move in the next 3 mos...from experience moving with a newborn and small kids is probably the hardest thing I've ever done up to this point! So, I actually like the cheaper by the dozen 2 remake, as much as I deny it:). Half my life is spent closing my eyes while things fall apart around me:). Good luck with the low baby (I know how that goes the third or fourth time around:) and keep us updated!!!
Yay! It's almost time! We'll have to do sushi after you birth : )
I totally feel you on the criminal minds and sushi. I hope you have a fast and EASE-y labor delivery! Just a few weeks behind you :)
