For the Love of Gray

 I've always loved white kitchen cabinets and for the last few years have debated painting our maple cabinets white. The problem? We have black appliances. I like black and white, but not like that. 


I could paint the cabinets black to blend with the appliances, but that's just too pit-of-gloom-and-despair for me.

Solution? Gray cabinets! Mom suggested it last week, and all it took was a single image search for me to become a hard and fast convert. 

The above cabinets are a bit green, but it gives me an idea of how black will look next to them.

 Love. Especially the bin pulls.

As far as paint colors go, I'm thinking light gray {Benjamin Moore Stonington Gray} for the walls and a darker shade {Benjamin Moore Ozark Shadows} for the cabinets.

Now I just have to wait for a paycheck to come in. I have a feeling the hardware store is going to love me this year. :)
