15 Minute Scarf

Do you have shirts like this in your closet? You know, the ones that look great on the hanger but somehow all wrong on you? I do! This blouse has always been too small through the bust, too sheer for comfort, and the empire waist made me look pregnant. But the pattern was so appealing, I often found myself trying it on, hoping it would somehow 'work' this time. No more! This morning I chopped off the entire bottom half of the blouse, finished the ragged edge and ta-da! New scarf.

All of the pattern, none of the pain. Sweet.

Super cute!! Great idea. And way to put the shirt to use. Totally understand keeping something in your closet hoping somehow it will magically be what you want it to be. Looks like you worked your own magic to make wearing that "shirt" possible!

I have a lot of things in my closet that I keep hoping will work but nothing as cute as this. Terrific repurpose Melancholy, it looks FAB!

Good point: all clothes are just fabric samples waiting for further transformation!
