Last week, I spent an evening adding bias tape to all my lamp shades. In the bedroom, black helps unify two otherwise mismatched lamps, but in the living room, I used yellow.
I just love the hint of sunshine with the robin's egg blue.
Isn't it nice when one can create something cheery for just a few dollars?
PS- Now I'm craving a yellow rug.

I will call you in a few years when we hopefully finally move into a house of our own, the kids are a little grown and I can finally start thinking about decorating:). My favorite color combination above, light blue, yellow, black and white:). Looks great!
